This is an introductory course in philosophical ethics; it will focus on practical issues faced in the medical profession. Students will have tasks broken into multiple sections:
Exams are generally not cumulative but cover the most recent material. One week before the exam, a study guide will be given, giving you the questions in advance so that you may prepare for the test.
Reflection papers are meant to be your thoughts as you reflect upon the class happenings. Be creative and thoughtful with these. Unless otherwise specified, you can choose your topic in the reflection papers.
Quizzes are to test your reading; there will be several scheduled and unscheduled quizzes. Typically, the quizzes will cover vocabulary terms that you need to master.
